Tracy’s Weight loss & Healthier Living Lifestyle Journey. Week 2 ~ Weigh in & Measurements

Sixteen days into my new healthy lifestyle and this morning I weighed in at 12 stone 3lb which means I have lost 6lbs in total. I must say I feel healthier although I am still struggling with painful joints and extreme stiffness.

6lbs isn’t a noticeable weight loss to anyone else (see pictures below) but still, I am only 16 days into my diet and according to my NutraCheck app it will be the middle of March before I’m at my target weight of 11st 2. Gosh that seems such a long way a way, I am rather impatient!.

Here a my new Measurements

I am delighted that Johnny Parky from Radio Parkies is joining me in A New Healthier Lifestyle as well as my friend Jenny. Johnny and Jenny also have Parkinson’s so it is an obstacle for us all to get round but together I’m sure we will navigate through the tough days and get to the finish line. (in our own time and pace).

The added pressure of Homeschooling

The government has stipulated that children at home require to do at least 4hrs of school work a day with live lessons. As a parent I am doing the best I can but I am no teacher and I am finding the whole thing increasingly difficult and I don’t even work!. I am getting up at 5.30am so I can have breakfast and a walk on my treadmill before 7am, this is when all the school work gets sent through to us which needs printing
7.30 it’s breakfast, after Breakfast the boys get dressed while I prepare the table with all their work.
8.30am we start and during the morning there are several ‘Live’ school lessons, 2pm is the last ‘live’ lesson. All work has to be handed in to be checked and marked that day .

To all the teachers out there, Thank you for all your hard work!

After a week of homeschooling, dieting, exercising, cooking and housework etc I feel I deserve a glass of Prosecco as a treat on a Friday evening. I need that something to look forward to otherwise I know my diet would end in failure.
